I switches sreens all the time as I wasn't able to remember the whole
registration code at once even though I have stared at it for a long time.

But after each switch to the readme (of the reg code) I forgot where I was
and had to switch back to see which numbers I have already entered. As that
happened lots of times, I thought it's better to write it down on a paper.
Well, I had no paper at home so I went out to the next shop to buy one -
but than I remembered, that I had no money, so I had to go to the bank to
get some.

You know what? The bank was already closed. So I went into a coffee shop to
wait there till the bank opens again as I didn't want to go back home
again. There was a gambler inside and he said:"Hey, are you an Amiga
user?". I couldn't believe it! How did he know? So I said:"erm...yes, how
do you know?". "Well..", he said, "that's quite easy - I see the
frustration on your face." - I said:"Well, if I only could have a good PDA
with AmigaDE running on it, so that I could write down the registration
number of the free give away TV-Paint, which is on the latest AmigaActive
CD-ROM!".

The gambler laughed out loud and said:"You need a PDA running AmigaDE? Why
not go to the living room?". "In which living room? What do you mean, old
man", I replied. "There!", he pointed to a dark room which was some miles
away of the place where I was standing. As this seemed quite a long way for
me, I simply flew to that point. Everything was dark there and suddenly a
voice whispered:"I am here. You just travelled through time.". "Who is
you?", I asked him silently. "I am you." he answered. :)

Regards,
Richard

PS: later, I found the reg code for TV paint printed on a street-sign near
my flat. I just took that sign with me and wrote it down at home. Now see
what I have drawn using the excellent TV-Paint:

TV-Paint isn't just a superb paint package, it is also rock-stable, btw.:)
